I have a really bad canker sore. How do I get rid of it?

Get the powdered herb, goldenseal. Apply a glob of it to the canker sore when you go to bed, in the morning the sore will be gone. The herb is sold at health food stores nowadays rather than at the pharmacy, like it used to be back in the fifties. But it's just as effective. You can even take the capsules just to be sure. By the way, it tastes awful. But it works.

Old farmer's remedy.

My homemade remedy for canker sores is to mix together equal amounts of Milk of Magnesia or Kaopectate and Benylin or Benadryl. Just rub it on and it will go away soon.
