Why does my tummy burn inside?

Why does my tummy burn inside?
Lately, I'll just be sleeping, walking, eating, cleaning, driving, etc. and out of nowhere, I'll get this BURNING feeling in my tummy. It feels like its firey ring inside. It will last for a minute tops, than it fades. Everytime it comes back though, it seems to last a little bit longer.

What IS this? Anyone?
answer:
It sounds like you have indigestion.

Try some over the counter medications such as Tums to see if this helps.

Reduce the amount of acidic foods such as tomatoes or sodas in your diet.
And don't eat before you go to bed.

It is best to have a check up with your Doctor too as indigestion can become severe if not treated.
He/she can also prescribe a H2 inhibitor to help.
And arrange some tests to confirm the diagnosis.

RN and had it myself
Honestly, that sounds perfectly like an ulcer. I would visit a doctor as soon as possible. If this persists, it can be very problematic, even fatal.

Without more details I can't tell you if it's anything else.
