what is the best way to get rid of lice?

im not sure where i got lice but i got and i did the shampoo then had my mom go through my hair 4 5 hours straight but they came back! can someone out there please help me this is driving me crazy.

ok i dont know if you are going to wanna try this but
my little sister shes 8 years old got lice ...and they tried the shampoo
and combing thing..and it worked and they came bakk.
but then my dad thought of something..he got some raid the spray to kill ants and all that and put some in her hair but not at the scalp
and they tied a bag really tight so that it wont go on ur face
and let it like that for 5-10 mins..and the lice were all dead ..then u need to wash ur hair really good.and wash everyting in ur room

It seems you are not maintaining your hair hygenically. Wash them atleast twice a week. Brush them and dont tie when wet. Here is an informative article on to prevent and getting rid of lice

You have to bomb the house like you would fleas all linens have to be washed. Get a stronger lice shampoo. Everyone in the house also needs to use it.

There are special shampoos you can get to kill lice.

ooh. hmm.. try combing your hair while shampoo-ing it. lice will fall -surely. try a conditioner.
