Occupational Therapy Practitioners: Topic for presentation?
I have to give a presentation on any topic as a fieldwork assignment..any interesting topics that as OT's you would like to hear? It does not have to be very long..just wanted something interesting.

I was an administrator of a large home health care agency for many years. We tried hard to educate physicians and nurses to the many uses of OT in the homes of recently discharged rehab patients. It seemed an ongoing struggle as we seemed to continue to get PT referrals that should have been for OTs.
Perhaps you could address methods to educate their local physicians and other health care practitioners to the appropriate referral practices.
