I've been having unprotected sex for a year now?
but i have not gotten pregnant.
I have not had my period in 4 months but i am positive i am not pregnant.
i always had an irregular period skipping up to six months
i barely started having sex a year ago and he's been my only sexual partner...
is it normal that I don't get pregnant?
answer:
have you never seen the shows on tv that show all the women that think they are not pregnant and then give birth? pregnancy symptoms are never the same, some women bleed during pregnancy, some are sick and some are not, some get huge bellies and some are slim in bikinis at 9 months along, and even some lab tests show they are not pregnant for months. our last baby was in her third trimester before the third lab test finally said positive! if you really are not pregnant then go see a fertility specialist if you want to get pregnant. a lot of women after they have had unprotected sex for a long time after they were told they could not have children actually have less stress and some get pregnant
You need to see a doctor, both because of the period and because you can't get pregnant. That's not normal. Irregular periods, especially like that can cause serious problems. I've got a friend who has hers twice a month and it causes extreme pain because she didn't get to a doctor soon enough.
It is different for everyone. I for example went 6 years before getting pregnant and since then i have been extremely fertile getting pregnant 4 times close together. However if this is a concern for you perhaps you can take extra steps like sperm counts or ovulation detectors. Good luck
lf your periods are always irregular, chances are, you can be pregnant without symptoms. People with irregular periods wouldn't know this unless they miss it altogether and/or take a pregnancy test. l guess it's normal, but either one of you can be infertile.
depends, take a OTC Prego test, even if it's negative, go to the Gynecologist to check and get birth control
Congratulations!
go to the doctor and check.
at least get on birth control..thats a back up plan
