My GF bleeding after a MAP (morning after pill)?
My GF's period finished a week ago . We had unprotected sex 1 day after her period finished, and took a MAP on the same night. Now after week , she started bleeding and its been a day it hasn't stopped. What does this mean ? Anything dangerous ?
answer: Unless she's having large clots of blood come out of her, she's fine. That's just the lining of her uterus (which is where the baby would live) shedding. The uterus sheds when a woman isn't pregnant. That's why we have periods aka menstrual cycles. Anyway, she is probably fine. And not pregnant. There are many hormones in the morning after pill which can cause heavy bleeding.
