question about hymens!!!!??? urgent!?
heey, So i was in front of the mirror and i was looking at my "hymen" And i see a circular shaped fleshy pink thing at the beginning of my vagina, i looked up hymen and mine looks weirder than everybody elses because there is NO hole on mine!!! like in all the diagrams there is a hole in the middle and the hymen is just a ring but my hymen is like a weird cherry shaped wall blocking everything!! and If i do have a hole it is freakin tiny!!! I'm scared because when i get my first period and eventually want to where a tampon, i won't know how to insert it bc i cant freakin find the hole!!
answer: What you have got is a thick hymen. Do not worry because it is normal though it is unlike what you have seen in the diagrams. To avoid discomfort, because your hymen as you have said has a tiny or nonexistent opening, use pads. And calm down. You are ok.

It's possible (but rare) not to have a hole in your hymen. If you're really worried, have a doctor look at it. S/he can also get rid of it for you if there really is a problem.

you may have no hole now but as you get older and are ready for your first period one should open up if it is bothering you take your self to a doctor and he or she can till you whats what
