answer: Yes, breast size is hereditary (most of the time) not necessarily with your mother. For example, my mom has B cup boobs and i have F cup boobs, but my aunt has E size boobs.

the size of your breasts is not hereditary. if your mother's breasts were larger, then it is likelier for you to have larger breasts, but it is not for certain. try keeping a chart of how quickly you're growing in that area for a better idea of it.

Everyone is different, I was the same as you when I was 12 but I'm smaller than my mum. You could end up being your mums size or you could be smaller.

it hasn't really got to do with how big your mums boobs are. you get what you get, pretty much.
sounds like you are on track for it. my mom has bigger than d's and luckily I didn't get those.
