Whats wrong with my head?
so for at least a year now, i've been having weird things happen to me. Like, if im sitting down and watching my dog play with a bone, i'll suddenly feel all tired and dizzy and i can't stay balanced (if im standing ill fall) and my vision gets all blurry, and purple and blue dots cover my vision. Also, when this happens, it feels like someones hitting me with a baseball bat in the head a bunch of times (ive had it happen once when i was younger). I also always have a headache and a throbbing sensation behind my temples. I always feel tired and always feel like im going to faint. Whats wrong?
answer:
If you happen to be a girl, you absolutely most likely have anemia. Have your periods been irregular? Have they been extra long or have you seen non at all? I really recommend you go to the doctor and get a blood test. The EXACT same symptoms happened to me when I was in 8th grade. I seriously described the exact same things you did to my doctor. She knew right away it was anemia. After my blood test, it turned out I had anemia really bad. They wanted me to take hormones, but instead, I'm trying to add more iron to my diet. People usually get anemia due to iron deficiency. So, it can get onset easy when you barely eat iron, obviously. Even if you aren't a female, males CAN still get anemia. It's just more uncommon in males, because they don't have periods. They don't have to worry about losing blood once a month. Usually, females with anemia feel so tired and dizzy, because they lose all their energy from the blood coming out. I must admit though, I haven't had a real period since last August or September, just a very tiny one day spotting every couple of months. I'm still very tired and worn out though. It's hurt my school work even. I'm definitely not as friendly to people anymore, because I feel so bad all the time. Last month, I was just washing the dishes and I suddenly felt very dizzy. I didn't want to say anything, since they would think I was trying to get out of a chore, but moments later, I fell to the ground. It happens in a flash. Anyway, my point is, you need to see a doctor. This could also be about not eating enough food, exercising way too much, lack of sleep, too much stress, or a number of other things.
I hope I helped you.
