I have an ingrown hair issue. please help!?

for a few days now i have had an everlasting unbearable itch in the depths of my ***. a simple itch has not worked... i have researched the problem as i am becoming worried of my current status and have found that it could be an ingrown hair. i am to embarassed to visit the doctor so i have decided to turn to yahoo answers to see wat i can get from the people. please help me this is unbearable! i am a man soo i do have pubic hair in my rectum region, so it is possible it could be an ingrown hair. please give me your thoughts.

What makes you think it is an ingrown? Sounds more like hemorrhoids, I doubt you have an ingrown....but that sucks dude.

This sounds more like hemorrhoids. Try anusol or another "hemmer" cream with anti-itch properties. Also, we have something here in the states called Tucks. They really help a lot of folks.
