What do you make of this?
I am 20 years old and I stand at 5ft10. Unfourtantly I don't think I am going to grow any taller but the thing is I have been weightlifting for a year and to be honest as much as I love having big muscles I think it makes me look shorter and stockier because of my height. If I was 6ft1 I could pull of looking good with a big muscular body.

Do you think I should not have done weighlifting in the first place? Also I have really stumpy short legs as well so I could I make my legs look longer or just look taller in general?
answer:
Hey Nick,
First off your only 3" off your mark. It isn't that much.
Second, since you have worked so hard to build a great body it would be a shame to waste all the gains. Have you thought about increasing the cardio. with running, stairs, and swimming to lean down, but still keep the sleek muscular physique? You can also switch your weightlifting over to medium weights and higher reps. at the same time.
You will still look rock hard studdly, but with less bulk. Seems like the perfect compromise.
Study your body in a full length mirror. I think you will find that you are quite proportional and balanced if you can look at yourself without your previous bias.
No you are fine that you did the weight lifting:the only thing is now that you seem to be out of proportion.
But did you know that men can grow till their early twenties?
I grew at age of 23:2"
That can happen to you too:keep them fingers crossed

Well apart from looking pumped up and false, short guys look really out of proportion if they are artificially muscular,A big turn off I am afraid,at your height just weight training would have sufficed,so yes, you probably have gone too far.
