Question about my braces?

Question about my braces?
Ok so im a senior and i still have braces, i know, im not happy about it. But anyways my bottom row of teeth consist of almost perfectly strait teeth and on my top row i have gaps between almost all my teeth, so i recently visited my my dentist and some how we got on the topic of my braces, he said at least my molars are in place and thats the hardest part and everything else will just be moved in line with them. so my question is if i have gaps in my front teeth and my molars are in the right place then wouldent moving the front teeth back to the molars just create bigger gaps? Whats going on, wouldn't it make sense to move everything towards the front? Sorry but this has just been bothering me for a wile.

Thanks for your time,
Tom
answer:
dear you just confused yourself by thinking too much.
don't think in that way.
the orthodontic treatment, of course done by a good orthodontist will not only move your teeth but also remodel your bone. its the movement and not mere shifting of tooth from one place to another.
trust your doc and go ahead. don't worry.
I had braces for one year as my teeth moved very quickly but some peoples don't and they take more moving. I really wouldn't worry about what your dentist is saying (Even tho they are very well qualified) it is your oorthodontist who will sort this out and they wont let you walkout there at the end of your treatment with gaps in your teeth. It will all sooner or later just move into place and you will have a brill smile :)

Braces myself :)
Dunno, braces sure straightened out my teeth now they're perfect. Do you trust your dentist? Do you trust your Orthodontist? They should know what they're doing so I'd probably believe whatever they're telling you.

BTW Invisalign is not as good as actual braces for the people that posted above me, what do you think is going to move your teeth and make sure they stay in the right place better? A thin strip of plastic or solid metal?

My brain
get invisalign instead
invisalign
no they will be fixed by time they are out just trust your orthodontist
well get the bottom row off so i dont know because im getting them
