Is getting your wisdom teeth painful?
i'm so scared
answer:
I had all four of my teeth cut of and they put me to sleep. Seriously, you feel like your asleep for like 2 seconds and then they are done. The whole rest of the day and night I slept through the pain (I had my teeth taken out in the A.M.) so the first day wasnt bad. The next few days you just wont be able to eat a lot and your mouth will be really swollen so talking a lot or eating hard things will cause discomfort. They give you strong pain relivers such as Vicadin, etc. I didnt use them tho..I stuck to simple tylenol so I think you will be fine! They give you stitches that disinigrate over a few days so they wont have to go back and take out the stitches. It might be a little painful but nothing drastic. Good luck && dont worry.

If you are talking about them growing in, it can be uncomfortable. When they start to erupt, they push for a while and then cause you some discomfort, but it's not excruciating. Ibuprofen is normally the best medicine to take because it is an anti-inflammatory. If it becomes excruciating, or if you have swelling, then you will want to see your dentist, who will then refer you to an oral surgeon if necessary.

are you talking about the surgery? if so you will not feel a thing til after the surgery is finished and pain killers will be given to you.
They'll either put you to sleep or they'll numb you. If they numb you, then it's really scary because you hear the cracking and stuff.
