Do I sound like I have dry socket?
I had 4 wisdom teeth removed on Monday. Mon and Tues I felt no real pain (I was taking Vicodin) Wed I stopped taking the vicodin and switched to ibruproven. I have iced it faithfully and been cleaning my teeth. Thurs to Now (mon) I feel pretty bad. Sunday and today have been the worst. im not sure whats wrong with me, but i feel awful. I was freezing, then I was hot. now im freezing again. I have giant headache in addition to my whole jaw being in pain and am naseaus. I also have a bad taste in my mouth. I am pretty sure I DONT have dry socket, but what do I have??

The time frame is right to have developed a dry socket. Also some of your symptoms could be from infection which is a different issue. You should see the dentist asap and if you have a dry socket, he will place a medicated dressing in the socket to help the healing and give you pain relief. If there is infection, you will be given antibiotics. Good luck Kelsie.
