Where do teeth come from?
I have been wondering for quite a while now, when we develop adult teeth, where do they come from? I mean, is it stored somewhere in our jaw and then when the time is right it comes out? Or does our body produce the teeth from scratch?
answer:
This is the way it works. The tooth buds begin in the jaw as a clump of undifferentiated cells. These cells differentiate as determined by our DNA into several types of specialized cells, such as ameloblasts. These specialized cells are responsible for forming the enamel and dentin that make up our teeth. Although this process is controlled by our DNA, external factors such as nutrition have an effect on the quality of the enamel and dentin produced. How the teeth ultimately look is also determined by DNA, which is why children often have teeth that look similar to one parent's. As the teeth form, they begin to erupt into the mouth (even when they are only partially formed at the roots). If you want to see this process in action, have your dentist show you x-rays of kids at different developmental stages.

They mature and then they come out when they are ready. Like all immature bones, they are originally cartilage and then they turn into hardened bone.
IT ALL BEGINS BEFORE BIRTH FROM ECTODERM CELLS AND THESE FORM INTO PRIMARY TEETH TO BE THEN FOLLOWED BY THE ADULT TEETH.
