i am currently taking fish oil ,vitamin e , vitamin c, vitamin b ,vitamin d ,and a multi vitamin can mixing too many harm you as far as i know its all natural just wanted a double check
Yes. That is why they make multi vit tablets. They contain EVERY thing the body needs in one go. Taking top ups doesn't help the body. It can only build up harm.
I completely disagree with Peter. Multi-vitamins are good but they do not contain enough of most vitamins. For example, you could take several grams of vitamin C every day and most multi's have far less than 1 gram.
To answer your question, mixing vitamins is not harmful. Actually, the opposite is true. They have a synergistic effect and they work together.
I do caution against taking multiple doses of a multivitamin. You can get too much of some vitamins.

No harm can be done from what you are taking. No death has ever been caused by vitamins. And yes they can be very beneficial for you.

Your B vitamins are a family of vitamins, and they work together, and taking a lot of one without supplying the others can imbalance those vitamins, increasing your cell activity and having your body cry out for the others. The best B complex is a naturally balance B complex, the chemically balanced just have 50 milligrams of everything unless its measured in micrograms it has 50 micrograms. Your best sources of B vitamins is liver, wheat germ, and whole grain breads and brewer's yeast, (not the kind you use for baking bread) also yogurt that has no sugar in it, like plain yogurt gives your body what it needs to make it's own B vitamins. Unless you can get a naturally balanced B complex with your B vitamins in amounts your body uses them, it is not good to take them long term. Your milti-vitamin is most likely a multi-vitamin mineral, and it most likely contains iron which in synthetic form is a very bad thing. It destroys your vitamin e which protects your vitamin a, constipates you and does a lot of other things, so I recommend a multi-vitamin mineral that is iron free, since iron is in every food that you eat. But no, you can't mix them together and get a toxity.
