Just got diagnosed with a ton of food allergies. Would a liver cleanse help? If not, what could?
I was just made aware that I am allergic to: all wheat products, cow's milk, all gluten products, all corn products, whole eggs (whites and yellow), and all rye products

It is like these food allergies came out of no where, because I don't think that I was allergic to all of these things before---maybe some, but not all of them. These are all of the foods that I have eaten everyday.

So it is possible it could be my liver? Would a cleanse get rid of food allergies?

What causes food allergies? How do you manage with them?

Help!

I have already purchased some lovely alternatives that I am enjoying (as long as I don't go out to eat it's not that awful) but I would love to hear from others to see if there's a cause and if there's a way to get rid of them.

Thank you :)
Who daignosed these allergies?
If it was someone with a device you hold I'd take it with a pinch of salt. If it was from clinical testing you may actually have these Allergies.
Can you give more information please?

Edit:
Thanks for giving more information.
A clense won't stop the allergies but there are schools of thought suggesting Adipose tissue and the Liver are a store for chemicals which are toxic to your body. If this is correct and you have allergies a liver clensing program may be appropriate.
I'm not sold on fasting. if your Liver is working properly it should detox anyway. if it isn't a fast won't be so helpful unless the liver has nutrients to support it.
I suggest reading "The Liver and Bowel Book" By Sandra Cabbot. It explains how your Liver works, how it interacts with the rest of your bowel and your body and has some sensible eating programs which will help support your Liver while it is cleansing.
It makes medical sense and common sense. Quite an unusual combination.

Was this a real doctor/nurse performing skin allergy tests on you in a clinic type setting with resuscitation equipment standing by just in case? Or some quack who wouldn't know what an allergy is if he went into anaphylaxis?

If the latter it's not allergy at all but fake quackery, if the former you will need a referral to a dietician. NOTE Not a 'nutritionist'.
Did an actual doctor diagnose these allergies?

Allergies are caused when your immune system attacks harmless things for no reason. Allergic reactions can be nearly unnoticeable to deadly. Over time you can gain new allergies by new B cells being activated.

The only way to get rid of them is to desensitize your immune system to those compounds with allergy shots. No other treatment currently in wide use will work.

So you have Celiac disease? It is a genetic disorder and can occur at any age. If that's the case, the only "cure" is to eat gluten free alternatives. If you see any sites claiming to cure food allergies, be sure to look for the medical disclaimer(usually on the home page.)

It isn't your liver. Liver cleansing is a scam.

Food allergies occur when the immune system mistakenly thinks a food protein(usually) is a harmful invader. This causes a reaction, which tries to dispel that invader.

I wish you all success in dealing with this.

Edit. A Nutritionist is not a profession who's standards of education and care are regulated by the government. A dietitian is.

You could try some supplements maybe. My brother takes http://www.ovitaminpro.com/glutenflam.ht… to deal with his gluten allergy, and it works for him. His diet isn't perfect, but he's doing very well with this.

I also agree with most of the other commenters... It seems like a lot of allergies!

Good luck!
