HOW CAN I GET RID OF LICE FAST WITH A HOME REMEDY?

I live in a very CLEAN house and my roomate is alway freaking out about bugs and how disgusted she would be if they got into her house. (bedbugs lice etc).
and I FOUND A FEAKING LICE ON MY HEAD!
i seriously have no idea how it got there!!!!
I'm only 15 and my roomate is a bit older like in her 50s. shes the nicest lady every but she would killme if shefound out i had lice!! i have no idea where it came from!! i am a very clean person!!

So I tried vinegar. I poured it all over my head like 5 times and scrubbe my head in the shower. But 2 days later I found another one crawling in my head!! oh and i also wahsed and dried everything in my room and sprayed my matress with this bug killer stuff!
The thing is I cant get any lice treatment killer
1. i dont have a ride to the store
2. i dont have the money
3. she will see it then find out!!!

I dont have mayonaise, only miracle whip and i heard miracle whip doesnt work for killing lice. only mayonaise. i dont have any vics vapor rub.
so what can i do!!!
please there are only a few bugs on my head i need to get rid of them quick! before anyone else gets them!! i have been only staying in my room so i know nobody else has them.. YET!
PLEASE!! also i do not have a lice comb!! :(

Pour this over your head
Being careful to not get in your eyes
Scrub vigorously

I remember when my cousins got lice back in the 70's and my aunt washed their hair with kerosene. It killed the lice.

No worries. I has nothing to do with uncleanliness. I caught it in the late 90's first time ever & was horrified.

Do you have any tea tree oil? Or rubbing alcohol? Maybe some vodka of hers that you could borrow and wet a kleenex & rub over your hair.

I'm shocked that you are 15 and have a roommate where are you parents? Ok besides the point but can't you phone them for them to bring you some? The stuff (lice killer) from the store is the best.

quick,place a shower cap on your head,and spray all kinds of stuff in it just not shampoo hair care or stuff like that cause lice like clen stuff,put ket-chup,miracle whip,and stuff like that in ur hair and go get proper care when you have a ride:)

get some olive oil or cooking oil from the kitchen cupboard and smother each strand of hair in it.... work it in to your scalp as well and smooth it completely through all of your hair........ olive oil will asphyxiate and smother the lice ..... leave it in your hair wrapped in a shower cap (tell anybody who sees that you are putting a conditioning treatment in your hair) for as many hours as you can... preferably overnight..... in the morning wash it out as you would normally wash your hair.

the added benefit of this treatment is that it's generally a product everybody has in their cupboards, has no chemicals or other nasty ingredients to upset sensitive bodies, is cheap and easy to use and will definitely leave your hair silky and shiny and lustrous afterwards.... works as a conditioning treatment too.

I'm afraid that NONE of the treatments mentioned so far will work. Hair lice can survive without oxygen for many hours so attempting to suffocate them with the products mentioned is totally pointless. This scientific study found the only possible remedy is petroleum jelly, http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob… a particularly gooey treatment that's going to be very difficult to get out of your hair afterwards.

Proper lice shampoo will deal with them; this is your best hope I'm afraid.

sorry to say this but home remedies wont work on lice
u need lice shampoo and a comb, how do you know there only a few bugs? they lay eggs u know?!
u could have tons of lice and eggs without even knowing it!
