Question about vitamin D?
is it possible for your body to produce vitamin D while standing in moonlight or does it only work in direct sunlight?

Not possible. There wouldn't be enough UV light from the moon light to produce Vitamin D in the skin. The small amount of reflected UV light would be completely absorbed by the atmosphere (the ozone layer) before it reached the earth's surface.

Shoot, sometimes even direct exposure to the sun isn't enough - as evidenced by the gobs of people who live north of the the 40th parallel (latitude) that get low in D in the winter months because the number of daylight hours shorten....
