Are kalms addictive....?
I get reactive anxiety sometimes (not very often)
although it's only one in a while when I do get it ,it makes me feel horrible and really tearful.
wondered if quiet life or kalms are any good for this? can they be addictive?
thankyou :)

They are marvellous and not at all addictive.
I had really bad anxiety a while ago and took them 6 a day for six months then I lowered to three a day then just one at night to sleep before I stopped altogether. I take them now if I feel anxious because they just relax me enough to put everything back into perspective.

No they aren't, this is why I always recommend people use herbal products instead of prescription drugs because the drugs can cause the body to become very much reliant on them... Kalms contains herbs such as Valerian which you can buy on its own and it isn't addictive at all.
Products such as Kalms or Valerian Root are more for insomnia, if you're feeling emotional I wouldn't take those I'd take St johns Wort, this will kill two birds with one stone, it will cure insomnia and the depression/anxiety you're feeling.
A personal best is the FSC brand, you can purchase it online or at a health store, 3 capsules a day for two weeks then go down to two.
Feel better soon.

Kalms are not addictive in a craving sought of way like drugs and cigarettes but they can be habit forming when you come to rely on them to calm you down. But there are no withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking them. You could also try Valerian Root which is supplement that many anxiety sufferers recommend.
Hope this helps
